Southern Plating, Inc. was founded in 1991 by Marvin Collier, father of Jeff Collier, current owner and president of the company. We operate in a 28000 square foot building with adequate space for expansion. Our company offers an extraordinary level of customer service that has delighted our customers since be began. We provide fast and friendly service so that you can get the answers you need when you need them.

At SPI, we are available to work with you, every step of the way, to ensure that potential problems are identified and corrected before they occur and that the final product is the best that it can be.

In order to provide the highest level of quality that is required in today’s market, our production personnel work directly with our QC department to ensure that quality is occurring on the floor. We continually monitor and analyze the efficiency of each plating line and process in order to prevent product defects and down time.

SPI continually educates and trains our employees through regular on-site classes. Through this training, employees learn the tools and techniques necessary to create efficient and improved production processes.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY PERMITS

Southern Plating , Inc is fully permitted to operate its on-site waste water treatment system, by the authority of the city of Savannah and the state of TN. This facility does its own parameter monitoring in house as well as using an independent lab for outside testing. The city also monitors these parameters quarterly and annually.

We are permitted by the State of TN for a Permit by Rule, for in house wastewater treatment operation.

We are also permitted by the State of TN in the managing , storing and disposing of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste to a certified facility permitted for final disposal of solid waste.

This facility is fully permitted by the State of TN division of Air Pollution Control.

Southern Plating has written notification to all city management as well as State management of all chemicals and their properties and potential dangers in case of an emergency.
