SPI operates two barrel chloride zinc plating lines. One is a six station barrel line and the other is an eight station barrel line
SIX STATION BARREL CHLORIDE ZINC PLATING LINE
The entire line consist of 23 stations, and has the capability of running clear or yellow chromate on line at the same time. SPI also offers trivalent clear and yellow hex free conversion coatings. The line is capable of running 1100 pounds per hour of commercial zinc plating. The Chloride zinc plating process provides a bright, blister free part. Also if spec plating is requires this can be achieved also to your specifications. With SPC documentation and plating certification upon your request. All chromates used with this process are excellent in the aide of salt spray protection.
FOUR STATION CHLORIDE ZINC RACK PLATNG LINE
The capacity of this line for smaller material is 2896 pieces per hour, this will vary depending on material size. This plating line consists of 23 total stations. It has the capability of running clear and yellow chromate on line at the same time. SPI also offers trivalent clear and yellow hexfree conversion coatings. This system also provides a bright blister free part. The chromate conversion coatings applied with this process also provide excellent salt spray protection. SPC and plating certifications are also available upon your request.
BLACK OXIDE BARREL FINISHING LINE
This line provides the capability of producing 200-250 pounds of material per hour depending on material size. This is a 9 station line that provides a black finish with an oil type compound conversion coating.
ZINC PHOSPHATE BARREL FINSIHING LINE
This also is a 9 station combination finishing line. This line has the capacity of producing 1000 pounds of material per hour depending on material size. A GM approved heavy zinc phosphate and a GM approved oil type compound is used in this process. This provides excellent salt spray results.
